A negative number will make the two tracks overlap by the amount of time specified here. A positive number will create that many seconds of silence. Offset - specifies a number of seconds between the previous track and this one.The timing of these is controlled from the SHOW options and permits The FIRST involves placing one or more sound tracks on the show background soundtrack. There are two ways that sounds may be added to the show. I have included some background information for others who may be browsing and don't know how ProShow Gold handles sound timing. If you wish you may want to add the track again with the appropriate trimming and either a positive or negative Offset to match slide activities.

Using the Offset does not trim the sound and would extend the track to later in the show by the amount of the delay. It then may not extend to the end of the show.

If you used the Start Time/End Time to trim the sound its length will be reduced by the amount trimmed. I assume that you have possibly used a combination of trimming the sound on the background soundtrack and/or delaying the start of the next sound track to accommodate your video. I am not clear with respect to the types and combinations of sound tracks you are using so forgive me if I go over things that you already know.
